Ball State University is proud to be partnering with Conn-Selmer Institute to offer college credit for its summer workshops. While attending the Track 1 or Track 2 workshops offered by the Institute, Ball State University will offer the option to earn one or two credit hours of undergraduate or graduate credit. This is an excellent opportunity to earn credit whether it is for elective hours to complete a college degree or renew your teaching license.
Ball State University's School of Music is a national leader in music education offering baccalaureate, master, and doctoral degrees in six distinct areas and is fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music. Established in 1909, VanderCook College of Music is the only independent college in the country dedicated exclusively to educating music teachers. We are fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, the National Association of Schools of Music, and the Illinois State Board of Education. VanderCook’s degree programs include the Bachelor of Music Education, Master of Music Education, and Mastor of Music Education and Certification programs. Credit for this course is being offered as a part of VanderCook’s Music Education Center of America (MECA) Continuing Education program, designed to enhance the skills of music educators. Conn-Selmer Institute hours may be accepted by your school system for Continuing Education Units (CEU). The CSI Summer Workshop offers 21 hours of classroom experience. Please check with your school system for qualifications and contact us if we can provide further information.

Conn-Selmer Institute hours may also be accepted by your school system for Continuing Education Units. The music and education departments at Bethel College are fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music, the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, the Higher Learning Commission of North Central and the Indiana State Board of Education.
