A Conn-Selmer School Partnership

The Conn-Selmer School Partnership is a stand alone program. There is no other program offered by any manufacturer of band and orchestral instruments that offers the pricing and benefits included in this partnership. This is an overview of the partnership:

Conn-Selmer Legacy

Conn-Selmer, Inc. manufactures a complete line of professional, institution and student level band and orchestral instruments that meet the needs of all musicians.  For over 250 years, the legendary brands from Conn-Selmer have shaped the musical landscape, providing the finest instruments played by the finest performers. From 18th century Europe, to the days of John Philip Sousa, to virtually every symphony orchestra today, accomplished professionals choose instruments from the Conn-Selmer.

Legendary People – Legendary Brands

Brands rich in tradition, such as Vincent Bach, Selmer, C.G. Conn, Leblanc, King, Holton, Armstrong, Ludwig, Musser and Glaesel, are part of the Conn-Selmer family.  Within these famous names are instruments second to none, instruments that dominate the professional market, and instruments that offer unique performance results demanded by today’s finest players.

Focus On Music Education

Conn-Selmer is also the industry leader in its dedication to music education.  From the first school for band directors and the first student method books in the early 20th century, to today’s industry-leading educational outreach, Conn-Selmer University, Conn-Selmer has a focus on school music – and provides student instruments that perform noticeably better and longer.

Today’s educational institutions recognize their reputations depend on attracting the finest students into their music performance and music education programs.  These institutions know that they must offer superior facilities, the best academia, and the best performance experiences available.

Mutual Support – Shared Benefit

A Conn-Selmer School Partnership Program seeks to support the short and long term growth of music performance and education programs by recognizing a high level of academic and musical excellence at qualified educational institutions.  The program will increase the institution’s national/international profile as a music school, allowing it to recruit more high-quality students, secure more grants and secure a long-term position as a leader in music and music education.

Using a generous program of in-kind grants, the university will have the opportunity to purchase and/or lease brand new quality instruments. The university may make selections from our entire line of over 18 brands of instruments. The purpose is to help fulfill the needs of the university. It is a simple process and will simplify the management of university owned music equipments.

Educational Benefits

Attract the best student candidates to your institution by providing superior music tools for both learning and teaching.

Becoming a Conn-Selmer School Partner can provide educational resources for current students, greater regional exposure to enhance recruiting efforts and national exposure to raise the awareness and impact of the University throughout the country.

Conclusion:

The Conn-Selmer School Partnership is a corporate partnership that gives the university the opportunity to purchase new musical equipment at reduced pricing with the benefit of enhancing the educational experience for it’s students. The partnership also gives the university necessary exposure to help recruit the best students to the music studies program.
